Question about HCG Levels after M/C (warning ds pic/ticker)

Hey Girls

Again I have a question. Friday 2 weeks ago when I first found out I was PG, I had a blood draw HCG 37, that following  Tuesday I started bleeding, and misscarrying. (I was suppose to be around 5wks)

This past Monday a week after my 1st draw, I had my 2nd draw my levels are 22. They want me to come back in another 2 weeks for another blood draw, to make sure its going down to 0.

Questions are, if it isn't down enough in 2 weeks, do I continue having blood draws every 2 weeks until I'm 0? OR do they have to do a procedure?

Any advice you have would be great, thank you!

Yes, they'll want you to go back until they are at a zero, which I'm thinking will be. My levels were 41 on a Wednesday then 6 on Friday and I went in for blood work a week later and they were 0. 

Hope it all happens naturally for you.

My OB's office said they like to see your levels get to 5 or below. If this does not happen naturally, they do an US to ensure your uterus is clear, if it is not, then a D &C is needed. When your HCG levels do not fall adequately it usually means there is still a piece of tissue from the pregnancy that did not expel on its own and is producing the HCG level.

I had an early m/c as well, on new year's eve.  My quants were at 8 a week later, then down to 5, ten days after that (17 days total after m/c.)  My OB wants me to go back again in 10 days for another draw.  I didn't ask if a procedure would be necessary, but she did say that she wants to follow the number to 0 (some do only until 5 or less) to ensure that all the tissue has passed.  Thoughts & prayers for comfort and peace as you recover

At my clinic, they keep tracking you until you get down to <2, for as long as that takes...  GL.
