Baby Name Dreams

Last night I dreamt I had a boy & a girl and named them Casper & Clementine.

Lovely- though weird & ironic, since Casper is on the fence, Philippa is our girl name for sure, and DH would NEVER let me name a child Clementine.

Anyone else have dreams where you used different names than IRL?

I have had a couple of dreams with names that have stuck out. One Camden (which I referred to in a post below). And another was Lily with a specific last name. A classmate of mine and his wife are due in March and their last name is the one I dreamed of. I am curious to see if they possibly have a girl named Lily?? I would be a little creeped out if they did

Ugh ... my names I come up with in my dreams are just awful!

My latest name dream was a month ago or so and we named our little girl,

Cutieness Clarie. (I'm dead serious!)

We didnt share our name, and we got home from the hospital and told everybody her name. Nobody liked it. Made me have doubts in my dream about my baby's name. LOL ..... thank GOD it was a DREAM!! How awful!

When I was pregnant with DD I had a dream we named her Halle, ended up with Holly so not far off. I seem to get gender right in dreams though, with both DS and DD I had dreams convincing me of the gender. Also had one for my DH's best friend, I was convinced after that they were expecting a girl and they are.

Well my nightmare ended up influencing our final name for our daughter, so I don't think name dreams are odd. I like Caspar/Casper and Clementine actually, so at least you have good taste in your dreams.
