on my day 12dpo, my hcg levels were 36. they want me to wait a week to test them again. i think 36 is in normal range, for not even being 4 weeks yet, but does anyone have any experience in this? thanks,
The number is not important so much as how fast it increases. The number should double ever 48-72 hours. I've never had a series of betas drawn, but I'm surprised they are waiting a week. Usually people go back in 2 or 3 days.

Sounds normal to me. Is there any reason they're making you wait a week? A better timeframe would be 48 hours later, which would tell you if the numbers are rising appropriately. I suppose you'll find out if you wait a week, too, but you certainly don't have to.

My level was 48 at 12 dpo so definitely think yours seems reasonable. i would also request a follow up blood draw after 2 days. but that's just me and i am very impatient.!

OK. thanks all - I'm assuming it will all be normal and fine and dandy next week!
i wish i was testinig earlier than a week, but not much i can do in between anyways, so - I wait.
Thanks,
20 at 9 dpo, 50 at 11 dpo. I will go again at 17 dpo.
As long as your hcg levels double every 48 hours you shouldn't worry.
mine was 34 at 3 wjs abd 335 5 days later. Baby is fine. there is a wide range!
