this is my first post on this board.....

We have been ttc for about 8 months now.  I started with the OPK's and they NEVER showed I was ovulating. So i moved on to charting.  The first 3 or 4 months i had a clear as day ovulation, but the last few months the chart is all over the place.  I don't have the chart on fertility friend...I am going to start that soon.

BUT, the last like 4 months....I bleed during sex the week or so before Im supposed to get my period.  

I get my period monthly, anywhere from 20-28 days into the cycle.

Im calling the doctor today to go over everything....but does anyone have any experience with this?????

Welcome! I hope your stay is short.

 Do you use any type of lube during sex? It might help.

Welcome   I don't have any experience with those things, but with your chart all over the place and your potential issues with ovulation, I'd try to make an appointment with an RE next to see if you can get some tests done (I'd skip the OB if that is who you were planning on seeing.  I love my OB, but they are not experts in getting you pregnant).  A 20 day cycle would worry me.  When did the chart show that you ovulated? How long have your luteal phases been?  I think if you start using Fertility Friend, it will be easier to see the patterns or lack thereof.

As for the bleeding a week before your period is due, I think it's referred to as "breakthrough" bleeding and it could be caused by a lot of things- hormonal issues, endometrium issues, etc.  Also a good reason to see an RE.
