I'm either paranoid or about to get a hell of a lecture.
Here is the post from yesterday:
https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/47960100.aspx
So this afternoon I called her and left her a voicemail asking her how she was (which she may think is a little too late, but what's done is done).
Anyway she posted on FB about being excited for American Idol. I commented "Enjoy Idol, I called and left you a msg this afternoon". To which she replied: Awww I was at the Dr when you called. So I thought "Oh good maybe I am paranoid about her cryptic post from yesterday".
Then I see a private message from her that says:
"Hey, I had 2 messages and played them back. Nothing from you but I did see that you called in the call log. I really have to talk to you and will be home all day tomorrow and friday so maybe you can call me. Anytime is fine."
So great I'll call her tomorrow and she'll either rip into me for not showing more concern after her fall on the ice OR she has to talk to me to tell me something good (like she got a promotion or got engaged or something like that).
Yeah I'll let you all know how that conversation goes. Wish me luck. I hate confrontations especially being on the recieving end of one.

Re: Update to Friend's FB status "Guilty conscience from yesterday"
I doubt she is going to rip you apart, she has to understand you have a toddler and are pregnant!!! I am sure there is something else she wants to talk to you about!

Ummm, I agree with pp, if she tries to rip into to you I'd be pissed. You did not do anything wrong! What you did was plenty. She fell, that sucks, get over it. It's not like she was posting from the hospital with a cracked skull or something. I also hate cryptic and passive aggressive FB posts.
Can't wait for the update. I really hope it's some good news!
Yeah I'll prbably hear something like "Oh I see you have time to play Farmville, but don't have 5 minutes to call me and see how I am".
Yeah I'll admit that when Nicholas naps I use that time for ME. Which for now (until the baby comes) means I sit on my a-s-s and play on the computer and watch tv. I very rarely call people on the phone durubg that time. Then when N wakes up we play or whatever. I was barely home the last few days anyway. Plus how was I supposed to know she was home the last few days due to her fall.
Blame it on her head injury;) Sorry if that was not funny...but honestly if she does give you a lecture, you really did nothing wrong. It sounded like she was okay and honestly, what if you hadn't even been on facebook in that short timeframe? You wouldn't even know that anything was up.
Good luck!
