Had the GBS swab today and was checked.  I was 1 cm and 50% effaced.  Not like that means much, because I was with DD around this time too.  But it's nice to know that my body is preparing.

that's how I was last week at my appointment too.  Am interested to see if there is any change at my appointment tomorrow!

With DD I stayed at 1 cm up until labor actually started (37 w 6 d).  I guess there is always that anticipation now that we know

Jealous of your progress.  

I had my 36 wk today and although LO's head is WAY low (pressing on my cervix), I'm at 0 (dilation and effacement).    Was sort of hoping for something...

yeah, I may very well stay this way until labor.  My old OB didn't start internals until 37 weeks and with DS, I was 2cm at 37 weeks and kept progressing every week.  So who knows what'll happen this time.

I just wish they would tell me! My OB(s) however, are vehemently against doing internals unless they are checking for labor. They say it makes no difference and I will just obsess over it (probably true).
