PAID IN FULL! ! ! !

I've been waiting to say that for sooo long! While we can't do another IVF right away, we have a huge burden gone! ! ! We will be able to try again sometime this year!  I still can not say she's paid off without tearing up. I knew we were getting close but, when I came home today DH told me he paid her off! 

Just had to share. Not many people in this world would understand

While I am THRILLED for you your post also makes me incredibly sad.

I WISH beyond words that more states mandated fertility coverage so the decisions wouldn't be so hard for couples struggling to conceive.

Congratulations! While I echo Howley's sentiment that it's ridiculous and sad that you had to pay for IVF in the first place, it must feel great to have that burden lifted!

Congratulations!!  I agree with Howley that it is so stinking sad that we have to pay for our kids with blood sweat and tears....and cold hard cash.  But....yay for being in the black!!

I kind of wanted to frame the letter that came from our IVF loan company after our last payment. I'm pretty sure I did save it...in a drawer somewhere.

I feel you!  I hate that I have all this debt out there b/c of IF!  Money comes and goes though and I know Nico is worth more money than I could ever even imagine.  Congrats!!!!!

WOOHOO!  It always feels good to pay things off.  Too bad we are talking about a medical service that gave you a human being.  Does not seem right, and I wish everyone had unlimited IF coverage!

Thanks ladies! I love having a place to go where people "get it".

I will say my mom, cousin (we are also good friends)  and bff were all really excited for me, more than I expected. They are all very supportive (my cousin is the one who gave me my PIO injection every.single.day. for 4 months) but, it's not something most people are used to getting excited about:)~

HS- I agree. I would be over the moon if money was not an issue. Money is the only thing keeping us from adding to our family right now.

I am so happy for you!!!!!! 

I just finished paying off my son last month.  I think the thing most people don't understand is the risk we took and the guts we had to take out a loan/debt.  This is something with no guarantees, yet a risk well worth taking!
