Jocelyn isn't all that interested in using the potty yet (sitting on it, yes; using it, no) and frankly we aren't all that interested in potty training until well after baby #2 arrives and things have calmed down for her. That being said, I've started wondering about how it will go whenever she is ready. Specifically, I'm wondering about her poop. More often than not, her poopy diapers are the super-messy, unformed crap-type; rarely does she have formed terds. I honestly can't imagine that poop paste coming out very well on the potty, even if she uses the adult potty. How does that work? When will her poo become more formed? She doesn't drink a lot of juice or really a lot of liquids at all so I've assumed that pasty poo is normal for her age...
Re: toddler poop
We're a few months behind you in age, but Ella's poo is icky and pasty, too. I have always attributed it to teething, and maybe that's the case - I swear she's been working on her incisors for months now.
I guess my response isn't all that helpful, is it?
