To be honest, I probably won't be able to go anywhere given work and needing to save money and vacation time for maternity leave. But, I do notice that it's a pretty east-coast centered list, and anyone west of Dallas is going to have a pretty long haul. Maybe there aren't too many left coasters here, though.

We started the polling at 18 cities, several of which were in the west. They got very few votes...and I was suprised, actually, because I thought we had more west-coasters than that.

I'm bummed to cause I won't be able to make it again either. There definitely aren't many of us on the West Coast it seems.

We'll just have to have another Seattle GTG next summer! Believe it or not, between seeing you on the fourth and then seeing other ladies the following week last July, we saw nearly as many gals in Seattle as we did in NYC the month before, although the NYC one was planned here for months, polls take, many many e-mail sent, etc.! I realize it's not the same when it's just people locally, of course. But...they're fun!
As a side note, Kira *still* goes around with that yellow frisbee thing that we got at the locks either on her head or around her neck. She put it on our dog's neck a couple days ago, and DH and I often get the honors too, hee hee.

Uh yeah, we haven't been so great about planning those local GTGs! We totally should, though...so maybe when you visit in the summer we'll get our acts together again.
I tend to vote for either Texas or Chicago because we have family in those areas, and they're central, which seems most fair to all, IMO.

They're fun for me to coordinate because I'm on vacation. I'm still in NC when we discuss dates and all, but even though my schedule tends to fill up when I'm out there such that it's not easy to plan, it's still fun for me to look ahead to vacation time and being home.

I think taking the top two or three is fine.
