She did really great, thanks for asking! She woke up randomly at 4:30ish, but Jake went in and rubbed her back and she went right back to sleep. Woke up for the day around 6:45ish happy as can be going "Moommmmmy?" "Mooommmy!"
Can I just add that Brian is completely baffled by the fact that (some) kiddos Ella's age don't sleep in cribs? He looked at me like I had three heads when I asked him about getting a rail for E's convertible crib/bed.
Yeah, I felt like I had 3 heads when I suggested that we try it. And I still get a couple side-eye glances, but whatever. I feel like I have to give this long explanation of why we're doing it to anyone that I talk to IRL. In no way are we trying to force her to sleep in it. Both beds are still setup and if she slept well in her crib, we probably would have waited at *least* a few more months to switch over. It just seemed like a logical thing to try and though it's only been 2 nights, it is working out fantastic for us. Olivia is so excited to go "night night" which NEVER happened before!
We still have the monitor on and are prepared to go in as soon as she gets out of the crib to soothe her back to sleep. We're not to the point where we're ready to just let her roam and play during the night.
Sorry, I'm venting. I know you guys understand, but I'm tired of explaining it to everyone else. I should have just kept my FB mouth shut

It made my day
That's great! Sounds like she was ready for the transition. I hope it continues to go smoothly. And I hope we are so lucky when we transition.
