back from second follie check

usually the doctors at my clinic are very mum during monitoring, but the doctor this morning was very talkative!

my lining is good (don't remember, maybe he said 6-7).

on my left side, i had 5 measurable follies

on my right side, i had 6-7 measurable follies

i will be stimming until at least next monday or tuesday, so it's still early, i know. but will i be producing more measurable follies?

i ask because last cycle, on the *exact same protocol*, they got 17 eggs (16 mature) at ER. should i hope to get close to that number this time, or could the number vary widely each cycle?

aaah, i think i prefer knowing less b/c now i'm over-analyzing!

It's still a bit early, but yeah, numbers can vary even on the same protocol. It's still a great number though:)

I don't have any advice bc I have only done one cycle, but everything looks great so far!!

Since you still have several days, I'd say it's very possible to have more follies catch up. Between my first and second monitoring I usually have 2-3 more dominant follies pop up. Good luck hun!

In the early monitoring appts, I had 12 measurable follies.  As they gor bigger, I had 16.  So some could still be hiding.

But u know the motto quality over quantity any day!

Sounds great!  I have my first follie check tomorrow.  I was wondering the same thing, how would I do compared to last time.  Like you, I hope to do as well or better!  Good luck!!!

In my case, I'm staying on same meds but upping dosage just a slight bit. I'm hoping for extremely different results. SO, I hope the answer is yes cycles can vary... a lot!

I think you're doing great to have 11-12 measurable already! So happy for you! I hope this is it! GL!

Sounds great!! I just had my first follie check this AM.  The u/s tech didnt tell me anything so I have to wait for the call.  I'm so nervous!

maybe this was my first too i was counting my baseline as a follie check, but really it's just a baseline.

aaaahhh, i hate over-analyzing this stuff! i hope everything goes well for you!

i just got my call - i have to increase to 2 menopurs, and my gonal-f and lupron stays the same.
