board glitch or something scarier?

I just checked "my posts" and saw a post I never looked at.  Went and looked and sure enough, there's a response with my name, my siggy, my everything.  I didn't type that response and no one had access to my computer that could've typed it (and I don't check the board from any public places).  Has this happened to anyone else?  Do you think it's a glitch or did somebody else log in as me?  Crap!

That is scary, but I've seen a couple people on 2nd trimester recently say the same thing happened to them, so hopefully board glitch?

I saw someone on another board saying soothing similar, I think the bump is having major major issues

My guess is glitch.  The same thing happened to someone on 1st Tri.

Do you ever visit that board? Is it possible that you did respond but just don't remember? Either way you could always change your password as a precaution. I did that when I suspected someone had hacked my email address after getting angry responses from total strangers about spam mail I supposedly sent.

A couple years ago, I remember people on the nest saying that they were logged in as other people.  There definitely was a glitch back then.  The date on the post you linked to was 2008, so maybe that was during that time?

Ok, well if other people are complaining, I'm going to guess it's just another one of the Nest's delightful little idosyncracies. 

At least whoever posted it wasn't a total douche under my name.

Really?  I didn't look at the date.  So weird, since it's showing up as the second post in the "my posts" page.  Pretty sure that page is chronological.

And why can't I spell all of a sudden???

Scary! I hope it is just a glitch. But, things like this is why I don't have pics of my boys in my siggy. Too many weirdos out there!

LOTS of old posts of mine (from 2008 also) are showing up under "My Discussions".  Actually, I haven't really verified that they are mine - I just assumed they were since my sig is there.  Anyway, someone else on the Politics and Current Events board noticed the same thing.  It's a board glitch.  This site is so terribly run I can hardly stand it.

It says the post is no longer active - which, in and of itself, is dubious....email the Nest Gods and ask them what the hell is going on. I'm sure they'll have some flowery explanation about how great they are.
