Is your DC freakishly strong?

I had to drop the kids off at my Mom's for an hour tonight. DD normally doesn't care when I leave and half the time is so involved with playing she hardly wants to stop to say good-8ye to me. Not tonight. She FREAKED out when I tried to leave. Like, turned 8 shades of red, started screaming and was gra88ing on to me so hard, I literally had a hard time peeling her off of me. I have never seen her react this way, she hasn't thrown a tantrum in years, literally. I had somewhere urgent to go, so I didn't have time to stop and deal with her tantrum. Though seriously, I couldn't get over how strong she seemed when angry. I was afraid that I was going to hurt her she was holding on so tightly. Even my Mom commented how freakishly strong she was. Has anyone else noticed this with their DC?

Re: Is your DC freakishly strong?

  • Yes, in the same situation and also when she gives "squish hugs".  I can barely breathe when she gives me a squish hug!
  • Rage (or strong emotion) is a crazy thing.

Joey lifted our living room chair -- WITH Joe sitting in it.  Joe weighs about 250lbs.  Um, yea....sick!  And that was just casually...no emotion behind it.  Just playing around.  I'm scared!  LOL

  • DS is. ?The docs have commented more than once about it. ?Apparently he has "very developed and impressive thigh muscles". ?The kid is going to pull trains with his teeth some day.
