What do you do if you miss a dose?

I take 40mg daily before bed...fell asleep last night and forgot...took it first thing this morning.  Now questioning if I still take it tonight as usual...?

    I take it as soon as I remember and then take my next dose as usual.  If you're on 40mg you're really just preventing something from happening, not actually thinning to treat anything, so it's not like you're going to thin your blood too much by doing your normal dose tonight.

    I've gone both ways on this. I'm told Lovenox only stays in your system for 24 hours (I've read that some docs say as little as 12 hours), so in the future I might just count the missed dose as missed, and then just keep going with nightly injections.  For now though, yes, I think I would still take it tonight as usual, especially since you take such a small dose.

    I think I just skipped it and started over the next day.
