WHY does shipping take FOREVER?!

I placed 3 orders a couple days after christmas and still no visit from my ups buddy. ridiculous! what's the deal? I have a birthday party coming up and my gift is still in a warehouse somewhere. ugh.

Yeah, I hear you! I did order my niece something from Zulily for Christmas and I was shocked when it actually showed up in a reasonable amount of time. Especially since it was personalized.

But overall, my experience has been so slow!

I refuse to buy from Totsy anymore and Zulily is also on my sh!t list.

The way it was explained to me by their PR rep is that, unlike the other deal-a-day sites, these places order directly from the manufacturer AFTER the sale closes. So first you have to wait for the sale to close (a few days), then you have to wait for them to place the order, the manufacturer to fill the order, it to get shipped to the web company, them to sort it and make sure everything was delivered and then it ships to you. All told you're looking at 4+ weeks of waiting.

I didn't know this prior to ordering from Totsy. I bought K shoes and by the time they arrived they no longer fit her. I was LIVID.

My order from Zulily was for two outfits. I got one, but the second one never came. I finally got an email from them saying the manufacturer ran out so they were crediting my account. Yippee.

I ordered 3 pairs of wee squeak from them 3 weeks ago and this is what I'm afraid of when I checked yesterday, they don't ship out until next week.

well, now I know. lesson learned. never again.
