NN for Eileen and Claire...

For the life of me I cannot think of any nn's for these 2 names.  Not that nn's are mandatory...just can't think of any.  Any suggestions out there?

I agree they don't need nicknames. Not all names do and these two in particular are nice pretty names that don't need shortened.

Claire is one syllable. Why on earth would it need to be shortened to a NN?

I've heard Eileens called Leena or Leenie.

not necessarily needed to be a shortened fn to be a nn...just something cute for a nn.

Believe me, the nicknames will just come.  I call my kids some strange ones that I would have never thought of....such as:  Natie, Natorade, Livers, Little Livy Lou.

I agree. DD is Clara but we call her Poppy most of the time, along with the occasional Clare-bear and a variety of other ridiculous names.

A good friend of mine actually just named her baby girl Eileen (after her mother), but they're calling her "Eilee." It was something they preplanned to avoid the confusion of two Eileens in the family and, as a nickname, I think Eilee is rather precious. Although . . . maybe that's just because I think Eilee herself is precious: )
