How have you ladies been using your Snoogle? I tried using it in the "back to back" position, but I am used to much softer pillows, so when I try to sleep on my side (which has proven VERY hard for me), I wake up on the middle of a night with my ear hurting like crazy.
Anyone using the snoogle who is not using it as a head pillow? If so, how did you contort it? I know sleeping will just start getting harder so I am desperate to find a decent position!
Re: Snoogle users, please come in...
I had a few times when I woke up with a sore ear, but always when I was facing the pillow. Either I got used to it or adjusted or something, because it hasn't happened for a while.
I use it a few different ways.
Most common is with the "u" shaped part around my head, the length against my back, and the "L" shaped part pulled up between my knees.
I usually roll over at least once in the night and hug it more like a regular body pillow.
I did have it upside down from that (the L by my head the U by my feet) until someone mentioned doing it the other way and I like it much better that way! When I did that though, I sometimes used a separate pillow for my head and just kind of pushed the head part of the L to the side. So that might be an option for you?
I just brought mine out of storage a few weeks ago. Haven't used it in the traditional sense much b/c I get hot and annoyed and once I'm awake, forget it, there goes the night! Once my belly gets bigger, I'll use it underneath said bump for some support, You can push the snoggle 'arm' up and slip your pillow in instead or on top if you want to sleep w head higher up? I also found it helpful when my hips would hurt, to keep my legs more parallel to one another. When laying on my back, head on part, legs lifted up with Snoggle and perhaps another pillow, good for sciatic pain.
Sleep tight!
Me too. I also will have the length part in front of me, like I'm spooning it.

I have a super smooshy pillow that I out on top of the Snoogle to soften it up a little. Most of the time I end up just tossing that to the side and just sleeping on the Snoogle.
I don't know if I'm the one the PP mentioned, but when I figured out to put my head on the curved part, I found it to be so much more comfortable than having my head on the side with the straight part.
I do not recommend putting any part under your shoulder and putting your head on the pillow--I accidentally did that the first night and it was awful. I'd definitely try pushing the top completely out of the way like others suggested.
