I'm exhausted!! DD has been STTN since she was 7 months old (we did Ferber). Usually, if she wakes through the night, she will fall back asleep by herself within 10 minutes. For the past week, she has been waking up at 3 or 4 in the morning and will not stop crying until DH or I go in there and hold her for the rest of the night. Her schedule has been going to bed at 7 or 730 and sleeping until 7 with 2 naps during the day. This weekend, we tried to transition her to one nap because we thought maybe she was getting too much sleep and just wasn't tired. She's not fussy or sick during the day, so I don't think it's teething or ear infection. If we just let her CIO, she will cry all night. What is going on? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

If she's not sick or teething, is she going through a developmental milestone? DD would always have sleep issues when she was trying to master a new skill, like walking. We would have to bring her in with us for a bit and then she would go back to sleep.

Also, I know every baby is different but at home, DD didn't go to 1 nap until about 16/17 months.
