This is really bothering me :(

Almost a year ago, my husband was hospitalized with a near-lethal carbon monoxide poisoning at work.  He is now putting on a class about it, so he got the radio traffic on a CD and we've listened to it a couple of times.  Also, I have been helping him do research and found something scary.  Research is showing that CO poisoning tends to weaken the heart and dramatically increase the chance of a heart attack. That is scary in itself, but add in that the #1 killer of firefighters at a fire scene is heart attack and I'm feeling panicky.  He is going to request testing at his next appointment with his doctor.  ::sigh::

I'm glad J does what he does to keep the rest of us safe.

This. I am so sorry that you are worried. Hope he is able to get testing done very soon

take precautions to keep his heart as healthy otherwise as possible (I mean help him to..)

it's all anyone can really do, you know? non smoking healthy people also have heart attacks. and heavy smoking hard livin' folks sometimes do not!

you need to focus on something else...maybe...that new family member who'll be joining your family soon!
