the easiest thing to do is make it with room temp water - and don't warm it -- that way you can easily make bottles on the go, etc.
we made bottles one at a time this way - and IMO it's a ton easier than making a pitcher in the am and having to heat up cold formula from the fridge.
sadly- my one twin had reflux and did so much better with warm bottles- so we did have to warm his... but my other 2 didn't need it - room temp for them was the bomb.
When we prep bottles ahead of time or are using the RTF formula, we warm up using a large mug with the hottest water from tap. Usually takes 4-5 min to warm. I find it easies to prepare bottles when needed and use powder formula and room temp bottled water (nursery water). We also use the later when going out.

We warm ours in steam heat bottle warmers. They're about $15 each and take about 5 minutes. I wish I hadn't gotten them hooked on warm bottles because DD gags if I give her anything else. Makes eating on the go a pain. She even gags with room temperature water.
