Speaking of poo - Just changed first real post solid diaper

I guess those mild breast milk diapers are a thing of the past now. This diaper was rather nasty. Um...when can I start toilet training??? J/K I know it's not for a long time...

    Ha ha! We are going through that too. Maya's solids diaper the other day was just horrible. It's still breastmilky with that hint of gaggy stank now, and by hint, I mean thick in the air.

    They definitely smell worse, but I love that they don't run out all over the place anymore. No more blowouts! I am, however, dreading the introduction of meat...

    Jace started pooping in the potty right around Beau's age (but that's a whole different granola conversation).

    FWIW - the second we started solids we started keeping an empty gallon milk jug full of plastic grocery store bags at each changing station.

    Each poopy diaper got individually double wrapped in a plastic bag and taken to the outside trash immediately.

    Those are some NASTY STINKY diapers!!!!

     

    Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
    Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
