Success after IF

Toddler sleep regression?

Recently, DS has been sleeping terribly.  He has been waking up at 5:00 a.m., sometimes a little bit earlier.  He used to sleep until 6:30, sometimes even close to 7.   I am just not sure what is going on.  He usually naps about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.  He goes to bed around 7:30 p.m., sometimes he'll go to bed closer to 8.

I am just not sure what to do?  What makes the lack of sleep even worse is that DD has also been sleeping horribly.  She is teething and wakes up around midnight and takes about 2 hours or more to get back to sleep.  I am just one tired lady and need some sleep help!!  TIA :)

It took over four years to be diagnosed with PCOS. We TTC #1 for 18 months, did 5 rounds of Clomid and finally moved onto IVF...which worked! Throughout our IF journey, we suffered 3 miscarriages. We conceived both DD and DS without treatment.

Re: Toddler sleep regression?

  • I feel like DS goes through phases of sleeping in until a certain time for a while and then it changes.  Over the last 3 weeks he has bee waking up between 6 and 6:30.  he used to sleep until 7:15.  I hate it!  Im hoping it goes back to 7ish sometime soon.  Last week he woke up at 5:30 twice!  i am thinkign this is just what happens sometimes with toddlers........maybe try putting him in bed a little later at night or push his nap out a little bit. in hopes that he will eventually sleep later in the morning??
