I want to go on vacation!!

It's like 10 degrees today... we haven't been anywhere warm for vacation in sooo long! Charlie was 4 months old when we went to NC for a week. We don't have anything planned. Anyone going anywhere warm and I can go in their suitcase???

It's freezing here too!  I want Spring to come early this year!

My sister is going to Florida...want me to ask her if you can get in her suitcase?  You would probably fit in there you are so tiny!!

I'll take FL. We might go sometime in April to visit my dad but we just found out he has cancer again and will be coming up to MI for treatment- so we might not get it planned before he's back for the summer.

Me too! We were supposed to go to Disney over the holidays but had to cancel b/c of my pregnancy (no travel for me) - which is obviously worth it, but I need a vacation!!!

I hear you!  MIL just started chatting me about if we were interested in a trip to the OBX with them at the end of summer.  so now I have sun and sand in my head!   (although i need to convince them that staying in the 4x4 area is where its at!!)

FWIW, having just come HOME from a pretty pissy vacay, they're not all they're cracked up to be. lol. But vacationstogo and bookit are giving chit away if you're willing to go off times this winter.  As for my suitcase, if you wash all the crap shoved inside (all 49.9 lbs) I'll let you hide out in there for next time. lol.

I want a vacation too...even though I just went back to work! 

Since I've been pregnant the past 2 years, we haven't been on vacation or done anything.  All of my sick/vacation has been used for maternity leave.  Of course, I wouldn't change a thing, but I'm looking forward to going on vacation again.  

We're going to Mexico next Christmas with DH's family!  I'm really looking forward to that, but hopefully we can do something else before then.

I would love a vacation. The last one we took was 5 1/2 years ago!!! IF and treatments put a stop to that. Now it is a $$ thing. We are hoping maybe this summer to take a mini vacation to either Minnesota or South Dakota but we will have to see about that. I am tired of the cold, snow, and today's latest favorite...ice!!!

I am so freaking cold today.  Cannot get rid of the chill in the house either.  Cannot help with a vacation as we are not going on one again this year

Me too, so much!!!  Unfortunately, DH is traveling for work so much between now and when this baby will hopefully arrive that it leaves no time for a fun trip, and I'm not sure how soon after her arrival we'll feel up to going somewhere. . .  Right now it feels like we might never get away!

I'm headed to Naples, Florida for a week in March.  It's for work but I will get some down time.  I'll take anything that gets me out of the Michigan cold for a little bit!

I'd love to.  I've only taken one warm weather vaca - I went to mexico...in August.

Man I wish!   The last vacation I took was my honeymoon in 2004.   2005 DH and I visited my sister in South Carolina.   Which I don't count as a vacation.  A vacation is driving or more likely flying somewhere and staying in a nice hotel.   Visiting family=not a vaction. 

2006- we moved to SC

2006-present:  went home to NY.  again to visit family.

I can't wait to take a vacation- I may be an old lady and not remember it though.
