I have been bleeding for the last 18 days.I have also had pretty awful cramps.
I was 6 days late and I started bleeding but never experienced anything like this before. It has been every color... Red, dark red, dark brown and everything in between. On what I am thinking to be CD1, I had the heaviest discharge on what I can only describe to look like red oysters. (SORRY) Has anyone on this board experienced anything like that which resulted in a miscarriage?? I am very concerned and currently waiting on my OBGYN to call me. What is this stuff that my body is trying so hard to get rid of????

Yes, I did but it came back negative.
Went to the doctor, this morning, and his diagnosis was that it was a chemical miscarriage after doing vaginal exam and looking at remaining discharge under microscope. He said that 75% of women have chemical miscarriages but they do not even know it and sometimes the HCG levels are already so low that they are not picked up. This may sound ridculous but even though the hpt was negative, I knew something was going on to make me feel as if I was. That is until I started cramping, bleeding and having seveal clots.
Well I'm glad that you went to the doc and got some answers.
