Liam cruises great behind his toys and has "shuffled" a step or two, but I am wondering at what point to I maybe start to get nervous that he is not walking unassisted.
Ollie was 15.5 months. I didn't walk until 17.5 months!
I don't know what your LO's "stats" are, but my pedi said Oliver's height + head size (huge) made it harder for him to walk. He crawled late too and she was sure it was his giant noggin.
DD#1 was 10 months and DD#2 was 12 months (which surprised me because she stood/cruised earlier than #1). I also heard that often boys are older when they start. My cousins boy was about 15 months i think?
I'm sure he's fine. But if you are worried, you can always double check with your pedi.
Stella was taking steps prior to turning 1, but not consistently. As soon as she turned one, she was walking all over the place. It was literally overnight!

Grant was 14 months when he walked on his own. I think it has to do with his giant head (his head measures in the 85th percentile but his height and weight are in the teens, though, to me, he is perfectly proportioned!). No need to worry about Liam!

Sam was just shy of 11 months when he took 4-5 steps, and now is almost running. BUT - he never crawled. He only crawled for the first time after walking, and then only did it to get from one place to another to pull up. I was starting to get nervous because everyone else was crawling and he was stationary - but they just do things on their own time.
The move from shuffling to walking will go FAST, I bet. Just give him lots of opportunity to do it.

Eliza sounds just like your little man. She has been cruising and walking with her push toys for months, but aside from one or two unsure little steps, she just isn't walking unassisted yet. Like you, it makes me a little nervous especially since we are looking at her having a possible spine/nerve issue. On the other hand, I know it is normal and they haven't missed the milestone- not even close!

Hayden took his first unassisted steps a few days before he turned 13 months. However he wasn't a "full walker" (meaning that he used walking as his main mode of transport and could go from sitting to standing on his own) until almost 15 months. I think he is still ok. Some kids just get it one day.
DD was walking as her main mode of transportation right before turning 9 months. But...she was a wee little itty bitty thing, and her pedi said size does matter, so it gave her an advantage.
My pedi suggests parents of non walkers start working on walking at 16 months, and worry at 18.

Still waiting! Ethan cruises and walks with his push toys. He can't stand completely on his own without holding on to anything so we're waiting for that. He did start PT at 12 months so we've got some help. (E was a late crawler...only army crawled until 13 months)
Alana's not there yet either, but, with her, I just think it's a confidence/I can get where I want faster by crawling thing. She cruises - she practically runs around with one hand barely touching things, but, she just has no interest in doing it without holding on.
At 10 months, I don't think you have anything to worry about yet.
Dillon is 14 months and still not walking unassisted, although he takes a few steps here and there. My nephews were both 17 months when they did it.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

My DD was 16 months before she walked on her own. It seemed like she had been cruising forever but just couldn't figure out the balance. She is in the 90th percentile for height and weight and has tiny feet... that was my theory on why she couldn't balance . My doctor said she was not concerned until 18 months.
15 months. He would do a few steps here and there, but at 15.5 months (when we were in the hospital having DD) he really started. It is hard not to worry when you see the other LOs walking so early, but he is fine!
In terms of really walking (as opposed to taking a step or two unassisted), it seemed like a switch was flipped for one DD one week after her first birthday and the second DD followed exactly a week later.

K was 13 months when she took her first unassisted steps.
She crawled early and cruised forever. Everyone kept saying she'd be an early walker, but I think she figured she had a good thing going with the cruising/crawling and didn't see a reason to walk on her own.
We started having her walk between us while we sat on the floor to help build her confidence. It seemed to help.
