I just stopped nursing and am wondering what a good time frame is to get AF again? I wonder if AF will show or my PCOS will take over again. I really want to ttc without my RE, and IVF this time. I heard the best time to try is after the 1st AF, has anyone had any luck with this theory?

I got pregnant while breastfeeding and no AF...and with my daughter I got AF while breastfeeding!  I think Howleyshell got pregnant quickly after weaning...not sure if she waited for AF or not.

I got my first pp AF at 6 weeks on the dot even though I was pumping around the clock.  First time in my life I get a normal period, WTF?  Anyway, I got regular periods after that for a while, even still pumping.  I never used any BC until I quit pumping a few months later.

AF came 5 weeks after I stopped pumping.
