Speaking of K'tans

Once Matt started crawling and then learning to walk he hated the K'tan unless we were walking somewhere.  He didn't want to be in it just around the house. Yesterday Matt was really clingy and I was trying to pick up before dinner but I couldn't because I was holding him.  So on a whim I pulled out the K'tan thinking he would HATE it but he didn't fight it at all. In fact I think he liked being so close.

I have to check the website about the weight restrictions but since Matt is such a string bean maybe he is still under the weight limit and I can still use it.

  • I think it's 40lbs.  I just recently gave mine away to a coworker with a newborn.  I didn't think my back could handle Jack at this age.

  • The one I am keeping is still used occasionally--usually if Aaron wants to be carried and I use it in the hip carry position. It's just some added support and relief for my hip, which is inflamed and painful from holding him when he wants to be held.
