Mine - I survived my follow-up appointment without breaking down in tears, and I went out with my girlfriends for the first time since our loss and *gasp* even managed to have a great time! Surprise

I started writing a journal yesterday. I wrote 8 pages worth. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow and my goal is to get some answers for a lot of the questions I have.

I went out with friends last night and had a great time. I am looking forward to the future now instead of dwelling on the past.

This week I am going to try to talk to my pg BFF and SIL. That is the hardest step for me.

I went forward to my church asking for prayers (that was a HUGE step for me because I am so shy and reserved and HATE attention on me)

I rubbed a pregnant woman's belly (a girl from my church who is due this week) and I didn't break down and I felt OK afterwards.

Lavril - my steps are pretty much the same!

I had my follow up appt and felt good after leaving (was given clearance to try again after I get my first cycle)

I hung out with the "mommy's club" - aka the three girls in my group of friends that have children... it was hard to listen to all their stories (they don't know about the m/c), but it was nice to see them.

I feeling like I'm PMSing... tomorrow is CD28 from the date I had my D&E. Fingers crossed AF shows and I don't have to deal with re-learning a new and irregular cycle!!

Yesterday was the first day I didn't cry since the ultrasound when we found out I was likely to miscarry.

Today I finally made the call to schedule my D&C. I've known that I need one for 4 days, but I just wasn't ready to let go yet. Well, I'm still not... but I know I need to.

I think I might actually be mentally and emotionally ready to move on and TTC again. I started lurking in other boards (TTCAL, TTCAL +6m, TTGP) and was imagining myself in their shoes. I also went ahead and bought internet OPK and HPT cheapies. I started "temp"ing as well. Other than all the celebrity pregnancies lately (those still bother me!), I can look at babies and pregnant ladies with a smile and not a frown. No more tears ... just building excitement.
