AW: Isabels Speech!!!

I was sitting on the sofa just a little bit ago when Isabel walked up to me with a water bottle in her hand. She handed it to me and said, "Here go, open, more (along with the "more" sign).!!! This is the most she has ever said at once, ever!!! This is her first "sentence" !!! Dh and I are soooooo excited!!!!

She has said "here go" or Here you go" for a while, it was a random thing she has always said on her own:) "More" was her first word we worked on with her SLP and "open" is a newer word her SLP has had her working on. I have never heard her say it without being prompted (as with most of her words). She did this all on her own, DH and I were each doing our own thing!

My birthday is tomorrow (30 is the new 20 btw) and she just gave me the best gift!!! Now if I could just get "mommy" out of her I'll be setWink

    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!
