Haha, Riley is the same way. She can spin and move pretty fast backwards, but has yet to figure out the forwards thing. She occasionally gets up on her hands and knees, but doesn't even rock anymore really. She just sits there looking perplexed, then drops and takes off backwards.
Lucas just figured it out on his 9 month birthday, but prefers to army crawl or scoot on his butt. Have P get on the floor with him and help a brother out, lol!
My DD does this too, she can scoot around, pivot on her bottom, roll all over the place, but cannot for the life of her figure out how to crawl forward. She'll get on her belly, kick her feet wildly, put her hands out in front of her in a "Push up" type position and promptly slide BACKWARD and then she gets P!SSED because she was trying to get CLOSER to a toy or whatever and ended up farther away....i know it's mean to laugh but it's just so dang adorable I can't help it!

My baby did the same exact thing for about a month before he started crawling forward. One day he just figured it out and he was off. Now he's super fast and into everything!

Re: H turns around in a circle and can "crawl" backwards, but not forwards...
Emma JUST started crawling yesterday! She's been rocking and pivoting for awhile but finally stopped moving backwards and decided to go forwards!
However, Em still can't roll over too well. If she falls on her back the poor thing is like a beached whale.
