Ugh! I really wanted to wait til spring to turn the car seat around, BUT we decided we had to do it now. The last 3 times she has been in the car she has thrown up. And she has probably only been out 4 times this year. The last time I attributed it to teething, but this time I don't see any symptoms of teething. I believe she is getting motion sickness. I'm hoping that turning the seat will help.
That seat is a *** to take apart the cover to wash it. Not to mention all the clothes she is wearing. Freakin stars everywhere.
Re: front facing now
Don't feel badly... we're turning Aaron around next week. He is really tall and our cars are really small so he's quite smushed. I wanted to keep him rear-facing until age 2, but I'm tired of him fighting me every time I put him in the seat. It's a struggle and I think it's because his legs get caught.
I hope the foward facing does the trick to stop the car sickness. My college roomie could never sit rear-facing on a train because of that. (When we went to NYC.)

Ugh! Makes you want to throw up yourself smelling it. Even after washing the cover something still smelled...those damn straps! I soaked them in febreeze. I hope that does the trick. & all I can say is thank God for leather seats. I am so glad I made that choice or I'd want to sell my vehicle too.
