Anyone in the Brainerd area??

I recently moved to Brainerd with my husband after he got out of the Marine Corps. I'm just hoping to make some friends in the area as I'm kind of stuck at home for the next few years or so. H is from Aitkin and has many friends around here still, but I am dying to meet some new mommys and make some new friends.

A little about me: I was born and raised in northern CA. A "little" city called Sunnyvale, and studied Musical Theater in college. I lived in LA for a few years which was an amazing experience but I'm glad I left. Met my husband through my brother, they were roommates in the barracks, and after we got married I moved with him onto base in 29 Palms. Now I'm here in glorious MN and its beautiful!! I actually LOVE the snow! People keep cursing it around me and saying "Oh I bet you're hating this winter" blah blah..but I'm loving it! I guess growing up near a beach makes snow permanently exciting for me.

Hi, I am not from around Brainerd but I did want to welcome you to MN. I have family that live in that area & I know when winter comes they stay in side a lot. So I am sure once Summer comes it will be esier to meet people. If you every plan on being down in the cities & want to meet some other Bump girls just make a most & we would be welcome to hang out some time
