I know I can google this but figured I would ask here, too. Is there a universal size for bassinet sheets?? I didn't even think to get these and I was just at Target an hour ago. Ughh!
I had a hard time finding bassinet sheets with my DS1 so i ended up using a pillow case and tucking the ends under the bassinet pad.. I will probably do the same thing this time around too! Good luck!
the pillow case is a very clever and inexpensive idea! Thanks!
OP- the sheets that you are talking about are called portable crib sheets. I think the name covers bassinets, PnP, etc. I'm looking at the ones I have and the package says the size is 24in X 38 in. I think that is pretty standard. I'm using a PnP. There are two sheets per pack (koala baby brand) and I purchased mine at BRU. They were right where all the other crib sheets are.
I don't think so because the ones I registered for at BRU do not fit on the bassinet I registered for a BRU, so Im back to the store tomorrow to look for something a little smaller. Measure the bassinet pad to see what size you need.

Born2Fly- thanks for the info! We also have a PnP and bought extra sheets and they would definitely be way too big. I will check to see if BRU carries the size I need though, thanks so much!
Our bassinet (its from PBK from several years ago) is oval and PnP sheets would definitely not fit. I found some Carter's sheets at Burlington Coat Factory for $4.99 a piece and they fit perfectly.
Our cradle mattress is sized so that it will fit in a king sized pillowcase (my grandfather built it). It's definitely cheaper than custom ones, but I'm thinking about asking my grandmother to make some.

The pillow case sounds like the perfect size!!
