Today really sucks

I would have been 31 weeks pregnant today, that's roughly the average length of a triplet pregnancy. I went to IKEA for some retail therapy and every woman there was either very obviously pregnant or had a new born. It really really sucked. Most days that doesn't bother me but today it does.

The day after my D&E I went to Target (this was right before xmas) and it was just swarming with super pregnant women and women with infants (or both!).... It was awful.... its one thing to consume your thoughts, but then for it to be non-intentionally rubbed in your face just blows.

I hope you got some fun things at IKEA  ((hugs)) friend!

I'm really sorry.  DH and I went on a little hike today and it seemed like every single person either had an adorable baby or was pregnant, so I can identify with how you feel.  Hang in there...

I'm so sorry.  I can't seem to get away from people with newborn twins everywhere I go.  It's such a painful reminder.  I hope your days get better.  T&P.

I'm so sorry!! **Big Hugs** I know exactly how you feel though.... seriously just about everyone at my church is pregnant, and I get asked frequently "so when are you and (dh) going to have a baby?"  Ugh! Hope the days get better from here!

UGH!  I completely understand.  Ever since I miscarried 3 weeks ago I have seen pregnant woman EVERYWHERE and everytime I log onto facebook I am "friends" with US Weekly and every freakin day there is another freakin celebrity announcing her pregnancy......grrrr!

DH and I took a trip to IKEA the Saturday after we found out that we likely had a miscarriage.  We wanted some good projects to keep us distracted, but the place was swarming with babies.  As soon as we walked in, I made eye contact with an adorable LO and she watched me from the first floor the entire time I went up the escalator.  It was almost like she knew something.  Later we witnessed a toddler throw a huge tantrum and it was literally the best thing that has happened to me in days.  Not to say I wouldn't give anything to have even the worst parts of parenthood, but there was something weirdly satisfying about it.  Today we took a trip to Target just to get out of the house for awhile, and it was like it was distracted/disinterested mother night.  Two separate times I saw moms who were too wrapped up in what they were doing to even keep track of their tiny ones, who were trailing behind unsupervised.  DH joked about snatching one, but I'm not really envious of other peoples' babies, though I would have taken that first IKEA one home in a heartbeat.
