XP - Insomnia from PIO shots/progesterone?

Ok, posting this on several boards!

I can handle the painful PIO shots, but I cannot handle insomnia that comes with it. I have taken it the past two evenings and lo and behold, both nights I was up several times and awake for the day at 5AM. I took it this morning instead of at night so I hope that helps, but there is no way I can function taking care of my almost 3 year old if I am not sleeping. Did anyone else go through this or have any tips? I am also hoping the prendisone is contributing and once I stop it it will go away. LAst time I did the crinone I also started with the insomnia too and I think that is what started off my tachycardia. Help!

  • I'm on 40 mg of prednisone and it is definitely causing insomnia. I've never noticed the PIO doing that...

I hope you can get a good night's rest soon!

  • I'm on Crinone and also experiencing insomnia - I wake up at 2:30 and again at 5 every night. No tips, just wanted to let you know I'm in the same boat! Hope it gets better soon.
