RE wants to move to IVF. Im scared.

If this IUI does not work (which it probably wont)- my RE said its time to move onto IVF.  He says its the only way to try to get my lining to thicken up because he will use more aggressive stims.
I am scared shi*less!!!   A little bit about the whole process... but mostly because I know IVF will be the end of the line for us.   I am so scared it wont work.  I wanted to do a couple more IUI's - but my RE says they are pointless because of my thin lining.
I am scared.

I can totally understand your feelings.  It is overwhelming, but your chances are so much better.  If you are really concerned, ask more questions about why and how.  You might want to seek a second opinion.  He might be correct in what he is saying.  Ultimately, you are in control of your treatment.  Just know what your odds are either way. 
Knowing my odds,  I am moving on to IVF after 1 failed IUI.  I feel more comfortable knowing that my eggs actually fertilized, are of good quality, and how many are going in.  I hate spending the 15K out of pocket for the IVF, but I spent $3000 OOP for my 1st IUI.   Good luck.

ugh, yes...... this is what I was going through 2 months ago-- It was extremely hard to turn that page because IVF is the end of the road for us as well and we are paying OOP so we've got ONE shot......  it's overwhelming and a huge decision to make.  Best of luck with whatever you decide!!

I totally understand where you are coming from we are about to start IVF too. Our RE told us it is our only hope since DH has a MF, I am scared to death too since it is the end of the line for us too
