Infertility

Back From ET!

Thank you all for the thoughts this morning.  We just got back from ET with some AMAZING news!

We transferred two beautiful blastocysts, one 5AA and one 5AB.  The third embryo was still looking pretty good and they think there is a chance they might be able to freeze it!!!  We couldn't have gotten better news.  Now I am in bed while DH is making me French toast which does not go with my high protein, low carb diet I'm supposed to be on, but oh well!

So the 2ww begins.....can't make up my mind if I'm going to POAS or not.  If I do, when should I?

  • Yippee!  Congrats!  How weird that your cycle and mine are turning out to be almost identical?!  (I'm so jealous of your french toast, by the way - my DH is being the Carb Nazi.  Jerk.)

At least our 2ww is really closer to a 1ww.  Thank god!

  • Great news! Now all you have to do is relax & eat french toast! YUM!
  • Congratulations on the AWESOME transfer!!!!  I will be keeping my fingers crossed that your last little guy makes it to freeze!

As far as POAS goes - I tried to wait it out but totally caved really early.

I tested the morning of my ET to see if trigger was gone and it was.  I did all my testing with FRER's - I tested the morning of 5dp5dt - it was stark white negative and I was devastated because I've seen several ladies get positives that early.

I tested again the next day (6dp5dt) and got the faintest line ever - you could barely see it at all.  I tested again the next morning (7dp5dt) and got another barely visible line and a bfn on a digital FRER.  Finally (because I am insane) I tested again later that afternoon and got a little bit of a darker line that actually resembled a + hpt.  The next morning (8dp5dt) I got a good strong line and a bfp on a digital.

So - my advice - wait until 8dp5dt!!!!

Tons of good luck coming your way!!!
