Tied to church membership or to a church? If it's the membership part that you're worried about, I don't belong to any church on the west side but DD goes there. She goes to St John Vianney and we're not members. She's going to a different one next year, and I'm not a member there either.
I believe My Place Early Learning has an MDO Program. Also this place has an MDO program. I don't know anything about the second place but I loved MPEL when I went to visit them. I might actually enroll Olivia later on this year.
Just randomly curious... has anyone come across MDOs that are only for church members? I haven't. I had head that some church members might get to register first or get a price break, but I never heard that you had to be a member to attend at any.
Thanks, I'll check those out. I also found that the Katy Moms Club is holding an event this weekend and there is supposed to be info on local preschool/MDOs.
both my mom and sister's churches only provide MDO/KDO services to their members. I assumed that was the norm. They do similar programs during the summers that allow non-member kids - "recruiting" I guess.

We go to MDO at a church we don't belong to. They give their members "priority registration" (no price break). However, once your kid goes there you can "pre-register" with them. I guess is there is a waiting list the member gets the spot.
Duchess-I am attending that as well this coming weekend at Crosspoint. I believe registration for most of the programs is in early February. I have heard great things about Crosspoint but they have to be 2 yo at the beginning of the school year so my DD doesn't qualify for this year and I really want to start her somewhere in the Fall. I haven't heard of any of the church programs being open only to members, although sometimes members get early registration.
Another option I have heard that is good is the Goddard School. They have part time programs and are not affiliated with any church.
