I need your suggestions on baby gates that can swing open. I was trying to save time and my 5'2 frame is not made for stepping over baby gates.... I am back on the couch for a while with ice, and gauze packing!

But really, what is inexpensive, and works well in a regular doorway  I am not picky as to if It is pressure mounted or hardware mounted.

Does that make your doorway more narrow, like would you have to lift a basket of laundry up and over?

yes and yes. we have one similar and I have to life my laundry baskets over them.
