From what I've read, it seems like many people have one or two days of heavy clots and then heavy bleeding. I am on day four of passing heavy clots and it doesn't seem to be letting up yet. The first day was the worst in cramps for me, but I still have constant cramping, just not as bad as day one. I have an appointment on Tuesday and planned on running all this by my Doctor, but was just wondering if something I should be more concerned about and considering making a phone call on Monday.
Thanks, Lauren
Re: Four days of passing clots normal?
no clots for me anymore. that lasted the first two days. I am still bleeding but no nearly as much as before. the pain and cramps are actually worse for me today. i have been trying to decrease the amount of motrin that i was taking so that i dont hurt my stomach. But in trying to do that i have now worse cramps and lower back pain. so its back on the motrin for me.
i am have been trying to relax (which is impossible) and trying to not do too much around the house. DH has been very helpful.
hope you feel better.

I haven't actually started bleeding yet, but from the way my OB explained it, it could be multiple days of bleeding and clots. Starting slow and getting heavier and then it eventually tapers off.... I hope you feel better and things can finish up soon for you!!
And to ask a question of my own... how long did it take people to start the bleeding and cramping and passing clots, etc?
