Grovia: inserts?

Can you only use grovia inserts (soakers) with the shells?  Or, can you use other inserts in the grovia shells?   Does anyone know???

I also use prefolds in the shell. You can use other inserts as long as they fit and are not microfiber (or any other material that shouldn't go directly against LOs bottom).
