Success after IF

Taking bottles at daycare but nowhere else...

Ugh. This child! I've finally got my supply up some and am starting to have a little extra milk laying around so that we can finally go out without him again, and now he won't take them. Grr! Last sat we went out for a friends birthday and he refused to drink more than an ounce the entire time we were out (7 hours!). I assumed he was having issues since he was at home and thought I should be too. Took him to the ILs last night while we went to a play. Wouldn't take a bottle at all this time. Just stayed awake playing until he passed out. Sigh. I just needed to vent. I thought I was home free once my supply came back up since I thought his bottle aversion ws from me trying to supplement. :(

  • Ugh - Sorry Abby!

FWIW, Alex and Harry are EFF and they are having the same issues (symptoms triplets?).  All the sudden the same ole formula isn't good enough for them anymore!!!  They used to eat around 30-35oz a day and now we are lucky if we hit 25oz.  Both of them just REFUSE to eat (home and  DC)

What is up with these kids?!?!

  • Ugh! So sorry! Maybe because he is eating more solids he doesn't need as much/can manage longer between bottles?
  • No advice, but just wanted to say I'm sorry you're still having this issue.  Hope he works it out soon so YOU can go out on occassion!

. He is not reallyingesting much of any solids yet, just playing with food. I was telling DH tonight though that it willbe nice when he is actually eating some solids so that I won't feel like he's starving when I'm away!
