did anyone stop working after their loss? for a short time or permanently?
Right now I am off for a while. But truley contemplating not going back. i feel like after this i am tired of missing out on what my precious four year old does. I am tired of not being there for him and always relying on a baby sitter. does that make sense?
thanks

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Given the fact that your baby lived until 22 weeks you qualify for your full FMLA time (6 weeks). So if you want to take time off you can (if your employer covers it).
I chose to go back to work after only a week off, but right now its just DH and myself and we live in a city where I have zero close friends. Work was my best choice (for me).
I am so sorry for your loss.
I went back to work the day after my d&c. I am a teacher and finals were the following three days, so I felt I could handle just administering tests. I have a three day weekend this weekend, so I am hoping to get some rest and do nothing (except clean my house because I have neglected it for the last couple of weeks going through everything). I will go back Tuesday and start trying to be normal again (as much as possible).
