Do you know if BCP will alter your day 3 AFC?

My donor had a low AFC at her day 3 appt last week.    I am waiting for her blood work results to come in before we decide to switch donors.    According to the RE office as well as the Agency, being on BCP will alter the AFC on day 3.    They both said that it will surpress the count.    My donor had 8 AFC total which put me into a tail spin!!!!!

I thought I would check here since you ladies seem to know SOOOO much!!!    I am glad that the Agency will replace the donor if need be, but I like the fact that we look very similar.    

I just don't want to pay all that $$$$ for nothing either.

I definitely think that it can.  I was on BCP and a low dose of lupron to suppress and it really over suppressed me.  Depending on her b/w and what the doc says, you might need to switch donors!  UGH!  That being said...my AFC on IVF #2 was 7 and I ended up getting 16 eggs.  But I was on an aggressive protocol.  Can they change her protocol to be more aggressive to ensure that they get as many eggs as possible?
