Well, Libby's getting better every night...on both Thursday and Friday nights she went to sleep in her crib after only 15 minutes of crying. She's not screaming anymore...just crying/fussing. She wakes 3-4 hours after going down and I nurse her for about 5 minutes and then put her back in her crib. She fusses for about 5 minutes and is out. Then she sleeps in there another 5-6 hours. HOORAY!
Once this little routine becomes more familiar, I am going to start working on night weaning, which at this point, would just be dropping that 11 p.m./midnight feed. But for now, J and I are so happy to have more room in the bed AND to be getting more sleep AND to be able to snuggle each other at night!
Re: CIO F/U: Days 4 & 5
That is awesome Lori! Could you come to my house and help me with Ashton? He was great and now he's back in bed with us. I think it's because I am still so tired that him sleeping with us is just easier. He was still waking the same amount of times during the night and it was just easier to bring him back in bed.
What a good little girl, Libby! Keep at it.
