How long did you bleed?

I passed all the POC in the first few hours (which was confirmed by u/s) and then have continued to shed my lining.  I was down to spotting after two weeks, but it's now heavy and clots again.  My RE is apparently unconcerned, but I'm wondering when it will finally end?  I don't know where this is all coming from...  TIA.

IVF w/ICSI/AH & acu = BFP!, unexplained spontaneous m/c @ 8w2d (our little girl),
FET w/acu = BFP!, B/G twins!, lost MP @19w, dx w/funneling cervix @20w,
twins nearly lost to IC @21w, saved by rescue cerclage, 17P & 16w of bedrest

    I have no clue, sorry.  I am still on week one.  I am spotting today.  I started the m/c on Saturday with spotting... Sunday morning clots, cramping & heavy bleeding (like a bad period).  That lasted a few days.  Today is my first sign of slowing to almost nothing.  However from what you just said, I will think that I will be spotting for a while.  I was hoping I would be done.  

    Fingers crossed this is the last little bit for you & then you can move on to waiting for AF to arrive.

    Well, I don't exactly have an answer, but I just have to say that your post now makes me nervous.  I had been spotting since Sunday and then I m/c last night.  The heavy stuff lasted about 4-5 hours--I can't overstate how PAINFUL that experience was!!!  I've been bleeding all day, but now it's just like a regular period, and I assumed it would be done soon.  Now I'm anxious about how long this will last.  So, you inadvertantly gave me some helpful info with your question.  Thank you, and I wish us all good luck getting to normal cycles and beyond!

    I had a natural mc just shy of 6 weeks, in December. I only bled for 2 days total, then it completely stopped. I also had zero cramping either before or during the actual mc. 

     I finally got af on Wednesday, exactly 5 weeks after my mc.  In my cycles before the mc, I only bled for 3 days and it appears to be the same now. I have almost no bleeding today, on day 3.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Once I finished passing the clots (about 4 days), I went to just bleeding and then it stopped. I have heard people say before that their bleeding slowed down and then started back up again. I hope that this part of it is over for you soon.
