U/S today confirmed miscarriage.... (DS ticker in siggy)

So we went back to the OB today, and after another u/s he confirmed that I will miscarry.  I should be 8w3d, but what's in there is still only measuring less than 3 weeks... which is the same as last friday, and no HB.  I had tried to prepare myself for this, since we pretty much new that this would be the outcome after last week, but it is still hard...  My OB is discouraging a D&C at this point... so we go back in 10 days to follow-up... if nothing has happened by then we will probably schedule a D&C... more so just to have it over with.  On the plus side he said we only need to wait one cycle before me TTC.... and he prescribed some pain meds (lortab) for me to have on hand for when things do start to happen.... anyway, just wanted to share the current status of things.  Thanks for listening and thanks for all the support I have gotten on here.  All you ladies are fabulous and it isn't fair that any of us are having to go through this...

I'm so sorry for your loss and that you are going through this.  I too am waiting to miscarry naturally until Tuesday's scheduled D&C.  It's been almost a week and I'm getting tired of wondering when it might happen.  I hope you are able to start the healing process soon.  {HUGS}
