12 month stats for our big boy!!!

Miller is 23 lbs. 10 oz. and 30 1/4 inches tall. Head circumference 16 3/4 ".  His pedi said he is doing great and doesn't have any concerns.  He is 95% percentile for height and weight on the Ds chart, and the pedi doesn't want to see him get any "chunkier" since kids with Ds tend to be shorter in stature.  She feels that switching him over to whole milk and weaning off of formula will get him on the right track.  We were instructed to wait for 2 weeks before introducing milk because the shots he had could cause a reaction, and we don't want to have to figure out which thing caused it.

He was a trooper for his shots and only cried a little.  He did, however, break the pedi's heart when he started crying when she tried to lay him down to feel his stomach.  She picked him up to cuddle him, and he lunged for me and cried for "nah nah".  I guess that's me!  I have never heard him say it before today, and I just about melted!

Egg retrieval 2/27 - 27 eggs, 24 mature, 19 fertilized
Embryo transfer 3/4 - 2 beautiful, hatching blasts and nothing left to freeze.  Beta #1 461 9dp5dt. Beta #2 1230 11dp5dt.

    Great stats! Poor Miller - I know they don't like getting examined. Jason only recently stopped screaming during those exams.

    And I'm Mumum. Not sure if it's because DH is English so M's used to hearing me called "Mum" or what, but it is AWESOME having a name, something special that your LO calls you.

    Awwwww. Nah Nah is so sweet! Congrats on your big healthy boy! Nobody likes shots (even big babies like me) - sounds like he did great!

    Wow, he's heavier than Simon!  And talks more too!  Wink  I'd give anything to hear "nah nah" in reference to me.  Go Miller!

    Good job Miller! He has passed up Caroline in height and weight. She hates being made to lie down too.
