Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Please recommend your books on grieving

Can you recommend any good reading that has helped you through the grief process?  I can really use this right now.  Thank you!

Also, I would like to update my signature info with my angel's information (12/27--U/S #2-hb at 6 wks 4 days; 1/10-no hb at U/S #3 and confirmed missed M/C) but can't remember what code to use.  If you can help me, please let me know--thank you!

Re: Please recommend your books on grieving

  • Not a book on grief but I've been reading The Prophet... it's a short read so I am through it in one sitting, but it really helps lift me up and put things into perspective.

To add the text to your signature just click "my bump" in the top left corner, then "Edit my avatar" again in the top left.  There you can add the text in, no code required.

  • I've been reading Empty Cradle, Broken Heart and I really like it. It was getting me through a lot before I realized this board existed. Between the book and this board I've been feeling soooo much better.

  • I'm just popping in to say I loved I Will Carry You by Angie Smith. It's a religious book of sorts too. It definitely helped me get through the hard times.
  • I am also reading Empty Cradle Broken Heart and so far it is really good.  I also read "When Hello Means Goodbye" which is a lot shorter (about 50 pages) but was really helpful to me.I hope you find some comfort.
