Oh the natural way or a little help?  If you got a little help what did you have done (i.e. ivf, iui, just meds).  Me, we had/have unexplained IF so we did injectibles + IUI for Thomas (took 5 long cycles, 3 m/c).  We just did another round of IUI for TTC #2 (currently 2WW).

Unexplained issues - I think birth control messed with my system.  Clomid (2 rounds) for our first & then Clomid (2 rounds) for my 2nd pregnancy (but m/c), we got pregnant the month after on our own (maybe residual Clomid???) with our 2nd & a bit of a happy surprise with our 3rd.  We planned to try without meds with Keegan & got pregnant very very quickly.. even though we know how we got pregnant ; ) we still don't really understand how we got pregnant!

Will be thinking of you & hoping for baby #2.

Natural after 10 months of trying and one chemical pregnancy. After making an appointment with an RE, I found out the next day that we were pregnant.

Natural way on our 5th cycle off BCP--5 months after our wedding. My first and only pregnancy.  Since I was posting on TTC after 35 at the time, I was convinced I'd have issues--since so many lovely ladies there were--and was going to have testing done if I wasn't pregnant after 6 months (I was 38). I am thankful that I had no problems and a relatively smooth pregnancy.

Old fashioned. We were on our 6th cycle and ready to go to the RE.

This past fall, I again got knocked up the normal way on our first cycle trying but it ended in a miscarriage.  

We are trying again now but if it doesn't happen we won't be seeking outside help the way we would have when I didn't have any kids.

The old-fashioned natural way. Seriously... I was a little shocked when it only took 3 months after going off of the pill. I thought for sure I was going to be the one with all the TTC problems. Plus, I was training for a marathon at the time and I thought all the running would add to the difficulty. Obviously not.

We got pregnant after 10 months the natural way.  I was using ovulation predictor strips to help.

The month I got pregnant I did 2 things that I think made a difference:

1. I stopped taking mega-doses of vitamin C.  I read that it creates a hostile environment for sperm.

2. I started using a sperm friendly lubricant called Pre'.  We had stopped using KY several months before, but sex was getting uncomfortable. 

I got pregnant the first month after making these changes!

Natural way by way of missing two BCPs.  I had even checked and saw it should have been a "safe" time but a month later I was pregnant.

1st time - Missed BCP

 2nd time - 11 rounds of clomid after 3 years of TTC

3rd time - Naturally - not using bcp because thought we would need help to get PG again.

4th -   the mixture of antibiotics and BCP

After 21 cycles & 2 failed IUI's with Ovulatory Disfunction (read weak ovulator/low progesterone) and MFI, we got pregnant "au natural" during our last cycle before IVF. I thought Assembly Req'd would be a great login name, but it turns out it wasn't even needed!

#4: on 1st try after the m/c (was 40, H was 51!)

Tried for about 5 years. Used OPK for first few years always with hope that maybe next month...maybe after this vacation. Did about 5 rounds of clomid, maybe more. (later to find out you shouldn't do more than 3 rounds of colmid...stupid gyno). Went to RE, did 4 failed attempts at IUI, then 2 IVF's, got pg on 2nd attempt. They were actually going to cancel me halfway through the cycle because I wasn't responding well. Later that evening I got a call to continue because BW was looking better, even though folicles weren't growing as big or fast as they'd like to see.

This sort of - except I was lurking on TTTC anticipating a difficult time due to my age, but we got pg with M right away.

Naturally...after 10 years of trying, one probe to check for blockag, es and giving up.  It was post vacation sex.  I know the date I got pregnant, August 8, 2009.

We had help, a fair amount, IMO. We did two Clomid cycles (IUI with the first cycle, cancelled the second due to cysts). Then, we did three, back-to-back IUIs with injectibles. Finally, we moved onto IVF and got really lucky and got pregnant with our first IVF cycle. These six cycles were over the span of 12 months, with two different (military) clinics.

I had one chemical pg naturally, while we were starting to see a RE. I got pg with M via Clomid + IUI. It was our first IUI, thank goodness! She's an Easter baby--that's the day I got turkey basted!

It took us a year but I conceived naturally. I did take birth control pills for 2 years when DH and I were dating and then I stopped b/c I didn't like putting synthetic hormones into my body. While we were TTC I had a full fertility workup and an HSG to check my tubes. DH also had a sperm analysis. Everything checked out except I had slightly low progesterone after ovulation, so I started taking natural herbs and using natural prog. cream after O. Don't know if that helped but maybe psychologically it did! We were blessed.

I'm a little envious of all you fertile myrtles!

Dx'd with PCOS and told that my only 'real' chance of parenthood was surrogacy or adoption, 16 years of trying, 8 years of on-off-on Clomid, 4 miscarriages, 3 months of extremely low-carb dieting, 35 lbs lost, two cycles on Femara, three months on Progesterone supplements and baby aspirin and a whole hell of a lot of praying!

clomid + met + IUI + trigger for all of them.  It only took 1 cycle for Griffin, and 2 cycles to get the twins. We were very fortunate.

we had one m/c during the time we were testing with the RE to TTC#1.  I have PCOS.
